'POLICY OF EQUALITY' COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT Every member of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is required to receive and sign for a "Policy of Equality Packet" . This documentation is a component part of the Department's compliance requirement from the Federal Court in response to a discrimination lawsuit from years ago. It is required by sworn, civilian, and volunteer personnel. An original signed Policy of Equality Acknowledgement of Receipt Form must be completed and submitted by all DCS-22 volunteers. You may wish to print the packet, but only the Policy of Equality Acknowledgment of Receipt Form must be turned in. Failure to complete the required form may jeopardize a member's continued participation. NOTE: It is unlikely that anyone in DCS has received the official training referred to on the Form, and review of the material available here does not constitute the training. Unless a DCS member is certain they have received the training they need to initial where it refers to a New Hire. Completed, original signed forms should either be turned in to Dave Danner, DCO or mailed to: Lost Hills Sheriff Station Attn. Sgt. Stephens 27050 Agoura Rd. Calabasas, CA 91301 |
